Job summary

UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking a Senior Post Award Analyst to join our Office of Sponsored Programs. You will manage post-award activities, reconcile budgets, and coordinate with Principal Investigators and department admins to ensure compliant grant administration.

The role requires strong knowledge of federal/state guidelines, excellent communication, and the ability to liaison with sponsors. Work schedule is typically M-F, on-site in Fort Worth with TRS-eligible retirement.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage and influence faculty; maintain a broad network of internal working relationships.
• Abilitty have up to date knowledge of applicable law and federal, state, institutional, and sponsor guidelines, including but not limited to FARS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200, and UGMS.
• Ability to respect and understand established guidelines and protocols
• Skill of seeking clarification when instructions are unclear to prevent created challenges for colleagues.
• Ability to transition important information from one person or department to another.

Responsibilities

• Initiate ProjID award setup in EIS System/PeopleSoft upon receipt of Notice of Grant Awards.
• Work with Principal Investigators and Department Administrators, reconciling budgets for awards, reviewing and approving requests for rebudgets, progress report submissions and no cost extension requests.
• Review and approve expenditures, including but not limited to ePro requisitions for purchases, Pcard transactions, travel reimbursements, and approve ePARs for payroll allocation requests on sponsored research projects.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding award management to include budget concerns, account status, carry forward requests, and subsequent years of funding.
• Liaison between the Sponsor and PI/Department Research Administrator for items requiring prior sponsor approval via email, phone calls or sponsor electronic websites for requests submissions.
• Provide training as needed to PIs/Department Research Administrators.
