Job summary

Roche Diagnostics France is seeking a Bioinformatics Software Engineer to design and develop automated verification tests for bioinformatics pipelines in Roche Sequencing products. You will contribute to scalable, distributed NGS data analysis software used for gene sequencing research and disease diagnostics.

Collaborating with researchers and algorithm experts, you will accelerate techniques using GPU hardware, support the software development lifecycle and Design Control processes to ensure

Qualifications

Requires a degree in Software Engineering, Data Science or Computational Biology or related field.
Five or more years in OOP with C++ and GPU-accelerated libraries.
Strong Python skills including numeric computing and data science.
Experience with CI/CD concepts.
Experience designing, documenting and executing verification tests.
Self-driven, detail oriented, analytical, quick learner; strong team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automated verification tests for bioinformatics components and pipelines used in Roche Sequencing products.
