Job summary

Roche is seeking a Bioinformatics Software Engineer to design and develop features for bioinformatics components and pipelines used in Roche Sequencing products. You will collaborate with experimental and algorithm teams to translate requirements into scalable software, leveraging GPU acceleration and existing research codebases.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, or biomedical engineering.
• 5+ years with NGS data and data-analysis pipelines.
• Strong Python skills with data-science libs; familiarity with C/C++.
• Experience in large code bases and research repositories.
• Knowledge of alignment methods and neural nets.
• Collaborates well with experimental teams; fast-paced, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
