Job summary

Samsung is seeking a Senior GPU RTL Design Engineer to contribute to RTL blocks and subsystems for next‑generation mobile GPU IPs. You will work across architecture, power, physical design, and emulation teams to deliver scalable, production‑ready designs for premium smartphones.

You will translate architectural specs into synthesizable RTL, collaborate with verification to ensure robust validation, and help resolve interface, timing, power, and area tradeoffs early in the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in semiconductor RTL design for complex SoC, CPU, or GPU architectures.
• Hands-on RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog, including microarchitecture development, integration, and debug.
• Knowledge of GPU or high-performance digital design concepts, including control logic, datapath, memory systems, and cache design.
• Experience with frontend ASIC flows, including linting, synthesis, timing analysis, and design quality checks.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills and ability to propose data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to RTL implementation of complex GPU blocks and subsystems based on architectural specs.
• Drive design from microarchitecture through RTL development, integration, and simulation readiness.
• Collaborate with verification teams to enable thorough validation and robust, scalable designs.
• Address interface definitions, timing, power, performance, and area tradeoffs early in the design cycle.
• Advance best practices and explore emerging GPU RTL design methodologies.
