Job summary

AWS is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to help GovTech ISVs reimagine their products on the AWS platform. You will own the technical relationship with a portfolio of ISVs and lead architectural deep dives, building prototypes and reference implementations while avoiding production shipping in their products.

The role focuses on generative AI, agentic architectures, data foundations, and compliance in regulated environments, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent) and networking/OS.
Experience facilitating architectural trade-offs with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Guide ISV architecture decisions across compute, data, networking, identity, and databases.
Run discovery with ISV teams to understand platform constraints and requirements.
Lead generative AI work on Amazon Bedrock: agentic patterns and responsible AI practices.
Help ISVs turn AI prototypes into production-ready systems for public sector buyers.
Explain compliance shaping architecture in regulated environments (CJIS, StateRAMP, FedRAMP, HIPAA).
Communicate architecture decisions to CTOs/VPs/Government CIOs and defend recommendations.
