Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide GovTech ISVs in reimagining their software on AWS. The role focuses on generative AI, agentic architectures, and data foundations for regulated environments, with hands-on prototyping and deep architectural dives.

You will own technical relationships with a portfolio of GovTech ISVs, enabling them to ship better products on AWS while navigating CJIS, FedRAMP, HIPAA, and data residency requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years of cloud-based solution experience, or AWS Professional certification, or equivalent.
• Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership on technical/architectural trade-offs and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy for a product.
• Experience with Data & AI technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
• Experience designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies.

Responsibilities

• Guide ISV architecture decisions across compute, data, networking, identity, and databases.
• Run discovery with ISV teams to understand platform constraints and requirements.
• Lead generative AI work on Amazon Bedrock, including agentic patterns and retrieval-augmented generation.
