Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide GovTech ISVs in reimagining their software on AWS from Austin, TX. You will lead architectural deep dives, prototype designs, and reference implementations while ensuring compliance with public sector requirements.

You will travel up to 30% and work closely with ISV leadership, engineering, and government CIOs to shape secure, scalable solutions leveraging AWS infrastructure and GenAI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 5+ years of cloud based solution, system, network and OS experience, or AWS Professional level certification.
• Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership on technical tradeoffs, best practices, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Guide ISV architecture decisions across compute, data, networking, identity, and databases.
• Run discovery with ISV teams to understand platform constraints and requirements.
• Lead generative AI work on AWS Bedrock: agentic patterns and guardrails.
