Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Worldwide Public Sector ISV Partner Solutions Architecture team, focusing on accelerated computing, edge AI, and the open weight model ecosystem. You will lead architectural design for GPU-accelerated AI infrastructure, guide partners in deploying open models, and develop reusable technical content for AWS-based deployments.

The role requires a US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with ~30% travel.

Qualifications

3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS).
Experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs or AI acceleration hardware.
8+ years of experience in technology domains (systems engineering, infrastructure, GPU/accelerated computing, networking, security, cloud architecture).

Responsibilities

Design GPU-accelerated AI infra with multi-node training clusters on AWS.
Guide partners in deploying open weight foundation models across AWS environments.
Architect edge/disconnected compute solutions for DDIL environments with edge platforms.
Lead sovereign AI and air-gapped deployments in IL4/5/6 environments.
Conduct architecture reviews, Well-Architected assessments, and proof-of-concept builds.
