Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) Collins Aerospace Environmental and Airframe Control Systems is seeking a Contracts Manager for Government Contracts in a hybrid Windsor Locks, CT setting. You will manage complex government contracts, influence senior leaders, and ensure compliance across contracting activities.

The role requires extensive contracts experience, knowledge of FAR guidelines, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
Advanced Degree with related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
Experience in contracts management and government contracting.
FAR 15 and FAR 12 experience is preferred.
Commercial Item Determination experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Propose, negotiate, and execute contracts of moderate to high complexity.
Review contractual documents, terms and conditions, and lead contract flow down processes.
Summarize issues, research compliance, interpret regulations, identify risks, and advise on IP concerns.
Draft formal correspondence to address contractual matters and aid in dispute resolution.
Support special projects, process improvements, audits, and customer requests.
Lead, prepare, and present review packages to senior leadership and customers.
Adhere to standard work processes and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
