Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Manager for F135 Subcontract to manage activities with Collins Aerospace in a fast-paced, onsite setting in East Hartford, CT. You will guide requirements development, negotiate contracts, and oversee execution to meet program objectives.

The role interfaces with program teams, acquisitions, engineering, finance and legal, ensuring clear requirements and effective agreements. You will also drive Lean and process improvements to boost efficiency and integration of subcontract

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of Program Management, Supply Chain and Finance experience is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

Subcontract management for major sub-contractor Collins Aerospace in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Lead requirements development, negotiations through contract award and execution.
Serve as key interface between program teams, acquisitions, engineering, finance and legal to ensure defined requirements and effective negotiations.
Lead Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives across subcontract management activities.
