Job summary

RTX Corporation, a leading aerospace and defense innovator, is seeking a Contracts Manager for the BBN team in Cambridge, MA with hybrid work options. You will manage US government and commercial contracts, negotiate terms, and provide strategic contract guidance to program managers, finance, and legal.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, FAR/DFARS expertise, OTAs/NDAs, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams. Travel may be required; relocation assistance is available; U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
• Experience engaging directly with customers.
• Experience with US Government procurement and/or OT contracts.
• Experience interpreting FAR/DFARS and related US Government regulations.
• Experience negotiating proposals and contracts, including terms and conditions.
• Willingness to support a hybrid role and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advise and/or represent the organization on contract matters; act as liaison between internal and external customers.
• Review and interpret, negotiate, manage Prime Contracts, OTAs, NDAs, ACAs, and other agreements.
• Review and assess RFPs, identify requirements/risks, and support proposal development and approvals.
• Draft complex terms and conditions and redline contracts.
• Negotiate complex customer contracts and provide strategic risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with policies and ITAR/EAR and global trade considerations.
• Support forward pricing, cost structures, and financial aspects of proposals.
• Work with cross-functional teams and mentor staff as needed.
