RTX (Raytheon) Collins Aerospace Environmental and Airframe Control Systems is seeking a Contracts Manager for Government Contracts in a hybrid Windsor Locks, CT setting. You will manage complex government contracts, influence senior leaders, and ensure compliance across contracting activities.

The role requires extensive contracts experience, knowledge of FAR guidelines, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
• Advanced Degree with related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience in contracts management and government contracting.
• FAR 15 and FAR 12 experience is preferred.
• Commercial Item Determination experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Propose, negotiate, and execute contracts of moderate to high complexity.
• Review contractual documents, terms and conditions, and lead contract flow down processes.
• Summarize issues, research compliance, interpret regulations, identify risks, and advise on IP concerns.
• Draft formal correspondence to address contractual matters and aid in dispute resolution.
• Support special projects, process improvements, audits, and customer requests.
• Lead, prepare, and present review packages to senior leadership and customers.
• Adhere to standard work processes and respond to customer inquiries promptly.

Collins Aerospace Environmental and Airframe Control Systems (EACS) is currently seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join our team working in a hands-on, collaborative environment. This position is for an experienced contracts professional with solid experience in the formation and administration of contracts. This person will manage complex contracts, recommend legal strategy in support of business interests, and communicate and influence senior functional leaders regarding matters of significant importance.

This is a dynamic working position supporting a significant value stream within the Power & Controls strategic business unit of Collins Aerospace with opportunities for exposure to senior levels of management and continued career development. The ideal candidate would be a hybrid employee out of Windsor Locks, CT.

What You Will Do:

• Propose, negotiate, and execute contracts of moderate to high complexity.
• Review contractual documents, review terms and conditions, lead contract flow down processes and other contract administration tasks.
• Summarize contractual issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, advise on intellectual property concerns and formulate and present recommendations.
• Draft formal correspondence to address contractual matters and aid in dispute resolution.
• Support special projects and process improvements events, as needed.
• Support audits and customer requests, as needed.
• Leading, preparing, and presenting a variety of review packages to senior leadership internally and to customers
• Adhere to, comply with standard work processes.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. Participate in internal and external customer meetings and reviews.
