Job summary

RTX is seeking a Contracts Manager - Advanced Structures to lead complex U.S. government and commercial contracting efforts in a remote capacity.

You will negotiate, draft, and manage contracts while aligning with policy, governance, and program goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive government contracting experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• US Government contract experience
• Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR
• University degree (or advanced degree) with related experience

Responsibilities

• Advises and represents the organization on contractual matters.
• Ensures all contractual activities are compliant with policies and procedures.
• Reviews US Government and commercial RFPs, analyzes requirements, and assists in proposal development and approvals.
• Negotiates and executes complex customer contracts.
• Identifies risk elements and offers mitigation alternatives.
• Supports program management and becomes versed in technical aspects of products and services.
• Provides strategic analysis and advice on contractual matters.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts on IP, indemnity, and liability.
• Prepares documentation for legal negotiations and relationships.
• Maintains accurate historical contractual records.
• Manages high-volume projects of varying complexity.
