Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead end-to-end government contract lifecycle within the US Public Sector Legal team. You will negotiate modifications, SOWs, and complex agreements, acting as the primary liaison between Salesforce and Government Contracting Officers.

You will advise internal leaders, manage contractual risk, and scale federal contract growth while ensuring compliance with FAR and agency supplements across SaaS and professional services engagements.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of combined experience managing government contracts within the public sector or a commercial tech/software entity.
• Deep operational knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and commercial item acquisition rules.
• Expertise in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and professional services contracting.
• Strong background in government financial workflows, including pricing structures, invoicing, and WAWF administration.
• Experience with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR and agency supplements.
• Manage contract execution, order conversions, pricing verifications, and contract close-outs.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable to oversee contract invoicing and payments.
• Partner with Legal and Deal Strategy teams to maintain product/pricing catalogs and resolve issues.
• Provide guidance on regulatory, compliance, and financial risks with mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver training on public sector procurement processes.
