Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage the full life cycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements. The role focuses on FAR/DFARS compliance, government contracting, and collaboration with NASA/DoD programs.

The position is based in Huntsville, AL with hybrid or remote options for qualified candidates. Salary ranges from $63,942 to $95,680 depending on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive contracts or subcontract administration experience (mid-level).
• 8+ years of progressive experience including independent management of complex agreements (senior-level).
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and application to prime contracts and subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer prime contracts, delivery orders, and task orders through post-award.
• Support proposals, including reviewing SOWs and specs to identify risks.
• Serve as a point of contact with Government contracting personnel.
• Coordinate review and approval of terms and contracts; ensure compliance.
• Manage subcontracts through full life cycle and closeout.
• Prepare RFPs and support source selection and negotiations.
• Administer government and commercial contracts in accordance with FAR/DFARS and related requirements.
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements and ensure proper flowdowns.
