Job summary

Cherokee Federal, located in Tysons, VA, is seeking an Account Executive/Business Development Manager with active TS/SCI clearance for a hybrid role. You will drive business development activities for government markets including DOS, DOD, and other federal agencies, defining growth strategies and leading opportunity captures.

The Senior Account Executive will manage customer interactions, differentiate contracts, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet long-term objectives.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field with 10–15 years of federal government business development experience.
• Experience supporting organizations within the Intelligence Community.
• Proven sales track record in government contracting.
• Experience with Shipley Business Development Lifecycle.
• Proficiency using Salesforce, MS Office and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage business development direction and goals.
• Define growth through customer interaction and contracting strategies.
• Build relationships with government decision-makers and contracting offices.
• Present to government stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and opportunity capture.
• Develop account management plans and identify new opportunities.
• Maintain documentation of BD activities in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with support and operations teams.
