Rea & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee government audit engagements and lead audit teams, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, GAAS and GAGAS. The role emphasizes client relationship management and business development within the firm’s government practice.

The position requires extensive experience in public accounting, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor staff while driving profitable engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in public accounting or industry equivalent, including GASB experience.
• Licensed CPA or international equivalent.
• Experience supervising staff and leading audit engagements for government clients.
• Strong communication and client development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise audit engagements for government entities, including federal, state, and local agencies.
• Coach and develop Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors on projects.
• Lead audit teams and ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, GAAS, and GAGAS.
• Manage client relationships and communicate audit progress to clients and committees.
• Identify risks and drive process improvements to maintain audit quality and efficiency.
