Rea is a growing Top 100 advisory and accounting firm that offers services in tax, accounting, and business consulting. The Senior Manager – Government Audit will lead audit engagements for government entities, supervising teams and ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, and related standards.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, business development, and practice growth, with a focus on delivering high-quality audit services and mentoring staff to advance skills and careers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• Ten (10) or more years prior work experience in public accounting or industry equivalent, to include experiences with GASB.
• Prior significant supervisory experience.
• Licensed CPA or international equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors on all projects.
• Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements for government clients in accordance with policies and standards.
• Coach and mentor audit staff to enhance performance and professional development.
• Maintain client relationships and manage client expectations; communicate audit progress.
• Support business development and growth of the practice.
