Rea, a Top 100 firm, is seeking a Supervisor – Government to oversee the preparation of financial statements for government entities and lead a team of preparers. You will ensure regulatory compliance and apply GAAP, GAAS, and UG with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

You will supervise staff, mentor junior team members, and work with clients to maintain strong relationships while driving engagement profitability and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• MBA/master's degree in accounting optional.
• Four or more years of public accounting experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Licensed CPA or international equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and supervise the audit process for government clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and UG.
• Review and improve internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with the Audit Committee and client management on engagement matters.
• Lead and develop the Accounting Specialist team; provide training and mentorship.
• Oversee budgeting and billing for engagements; manage profitability and client relations.
