Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr. GovCloud Data Infrastructure Engineer to build and secure the GovCloud data platform. You will design IaC, establish PostgreSQL infrastructure, and implement multi-environment architectures aligned with FedRAMP and compliance requirements.

You will collaborate with security, compliance, and data teams, implementing CI/CD pipelines and AI-enhanced workflows while delivering reliable government cloud data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure engineering and operations.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch.
• Strong PostgreSQL administration incl. replication, backup/recovery, and HA.
• Python for automation and data pipeline monitoring.
• Experience with enterprise IAM and Google SAML integration.
• Experience administering Tableau Server and BI tooling.
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Ruby) and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AWS GovCloud infrastructure with security compliance and network security.
• Establish PostgreSQL infra, backup/recovery, replication, and HA.
• Create IaC workflows using Chef for provisioning and deployment.
• Integrate application access controls with Google SAML and SSO.
• Deploy BI infra in GovCloud with authentication integration.
• Architect multi-environment infrastructure with proper isolation and promotion workflows.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability for infra and data pipelines.
• Provide on-call support for ETL/ELT, DB performance, and access issues.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data engineers on government requirements.
• Partner with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and automation using Chef and AWS tools.
• Leverage AI to improve decision-making and workflow efficiency.
