Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Sr. GovCloud Data Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate a secure, FedRAMP-aligned GovCloud platform. You will design IaC with Chef, set up PostgreSQL, and implement access management with Google SAML across multi-environment deployments.

You will enable BI, ETL pipelines, and CI/CD flows, while ensuring security, monitoring, and reliability. A US citizen or permanent resident with security clearances is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure engineering and operations with 3+ years AWS.
• Greenfield cloud infra from design to production deployment.
• PostgreSQL admin: tuning, replication, backups, HA.
• Python scripting for automation and pipelines.
• Experience with Chef for IaC and automation.
• Identity management with Google SAML and SSO.
• Tableau Server admin, installation and security.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and IaC tooling.
• Security standards FedRAMP/FISMA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design/build AWS GovCloud infra with security compliance.
• Establish PostgreSQL infra with backups and HA.
• Develop IaC with Chef for provisioning and config mgmt.
• Integrate Google SAML, IAM and SSO for apps.
• Deploy BI infra and user management in GovCloud.
• Create multi-environment networks and promotion workflows.
• Implement monitoring/observability (CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Support data pipelines, resolve ETL/ELT issues.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Apply AI to streamline workflows and decisions.
