Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a GovCloud Data Infrastructure Engineer to build a secure, compliant data platform in AWS GovCloud. You will design IaC, establish PostgreSQL databases, and create multi-environment systems aligned with FedRAMP and FISMA requirements.

You’ll integrate Google SAML for secure access, deploy BI infrastructure, and collaborate with security, compliance, and data teams to enable reliable, scalable data pipelines. This is a greenfield opportunity with growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure engineering and operations.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL administration and HA setup.
• Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience with Chef for IaC in greenfield deployments.
• Identity management with Google SAML/SSO.
• Experience administering Tableau Server or BI apps.
• Multi-environment infrastructure design and deployment automation.
• Scripting in Bash or Ruby for ops tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AWS GovCloud infrastructure with security compliance (FedRAMP, FISMA).
• Establish PostgreSQL infra, backups, replication, HA, and security hardening.
• Implement IaC with Chef for provisioning and deployments.
• Integrate Google SAML-based auth and SSO.
• Deploy and configure BI infra (Tableau) in GovCloud.
• Build multi-environment architecture and promotion workflows.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and runbooks for DR and ops.
• Triage incidents across data pipelines and infra.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and data engineering teams.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation with Chef and AWS tools.
