Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support Federal Government Prime Contracts with a fully remote role across the United States. The candidate will source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement in a CPSR-compliant environment.

Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success. The role requires a deep understanding of FAR/DFAR, CPSR procedures, and Deltek Costpoint.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant government procurement experience (or master’s with 6+).
• 8+ years of US Government procurement experience.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and CPSR processes.
• Experience negotiating contracts and evaluating suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and documentation skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates and communicates effectively in a team environment, collaborating with stakeholders.
• Liaises with Program Operations to align procurement activities with internal teams.
• Implements procurement policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyzes market practices, price trends to leverage acquisitions.
• Participates in RFP/bid package preparation.
• Monitors suppliers based on performance.
• Sources, negotiates, and purchases services and goods.
• Negotiates with suppliers to achieve best value.
• Problem solving and developing technical solutions.
• Process Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order in Deltek Costpoint.
• Maintains records of orders and deliveries.
• Tracks deliverables and follows up with vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
