Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support Federal Government Prime Contracts. This fully remote role requires sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships across complex procurements.

You will ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and CPSR processes while coordinating with internal stakeholders to achieve timely, cost-effective results. The ideal candidate has extensive government procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years of relevant government procurement experience.
• 8+ years of US Government procurement experience emphasized.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR and CPSR procedures is required.
• Proven negotiation, PO administration and supplier performance management.
• Experience with federal procurements and contract compliance.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities with internal and cross-functional teams.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase services, equipment, and supplies.
• Prepare RFPs and bid packages as needed.
• Monitor suppliers and analyze price/value for best outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with CPSR processes and procurement policies.
• Maintain records of orders and deliveries; track deliverables.
