Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support a Federal Government Prime Contract. This role is fully remote within the United States and requires strong procurement experience, including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.

A CPSR-compliant environment and familiarity with Deltek Costpoint are a plus. The position emphasizes adherence to FAR/DFAR, rigorous documentation, and timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.

Responsibilities

• Operates and communicates effectively in a team environment with stakeholders.
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal and cross-functional teams.
• Implement procurement policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Analyze market trends and opportunities to optimize material acquisitions.
• Prepare RFPs and bid packages as needed.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase services and supplies to meet requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value.
• Maintain documentation and track deliverables with vendors.
