GovCIO is hiring a Senior Procurement Administrator to support Federal Government Prime Contracts. This role is fully remote within the United States and requires sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in US Government procurement, deep knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CPSR compliance, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement.
• Excellent knowledge of the FAR/DFAR.
• Experience with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in procurement of materials and goods, including negotiation and PO administration.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurements and negotiation techniques.
• Strong business acumen, management and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high pace environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Effective written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARs and agency-specific regulations.

Responsabilités

• Sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
• Support complex procurement actions for a large prime contract program.
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare RFPs and bid packages; analyze supplier performance.
• Purchase services, equipment and supplies to meet requirements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes and CPSR controls.
• Track deliverables and maintain detailed records of orders and receipts.
• Identify opportunities to leverage material acquisitions and achieve savings.
