Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support a Federal Government prime contract. This fully remote role requires strong sourcing, negotiation, and vendor-management skills to secure timely, cost-effective procurements.

You will work with Program Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and CPSR procedures, while delivering value and efficiency across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• 8+ years of US Government procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
• Experience with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience negotiating and managing contractor/vendor performance.
• Strong negotiation, business acumen, and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Extensive knowledge of federal procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities with internal and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFPs and bid packages.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and manage price/contract analyses.
• Source and purchase services, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and CPSR requirements.
• Maintain purchase orders and source documentation in Costpoint.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
