Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Tech Lead Go Developer to build a scalable digital freight platform, delivering reliable backend solutions for modern logistics operations. You will own delivery, set technical direction, and contribute hands-on while mentoring the team.

You will design high-load microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven pipelines using Kafka, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Go development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Go internals: concurrency, goroutines, channels, memory management and GC.
• Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems from the ground up.
• Strong REST API and microservices design skills.
• Hands-on with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong SQL knowledge with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis and caching strategies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• CI/CD using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Production experience: monitoring, incident response and post-incident analysis.

Responsibilities

• Owning the team's delivery and execution: planning, dependencies, reviews, quality.
• Set technical direction, run design reviews, ensure solution consistency, contribute hands-on (~30%).
• Collaborate on discovery with Product Manager for technical elaboration before development.
• Develop people: 1:1s, feedback, performance practices, mentoring.
