Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Go Architect / Solution Architect (Go) to design scalable distributed systems and high-performance platforms for a global financial services client. You will shape architecture decisions and collaborate with product teams to translate business goals into technical plans.

The role requires deep Go expertise, experience with microservices, and strong knowledge of API design, databases, and modern DevOps practices. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development.
• 4+ years hands-on Go production experience with concurrency.
• Higher education in Computer Science.
• Extensive AI/ML implementation experience within teams.
• Experience in fintech or regulated domains.
• Proven design of distributed, microservice or high-load systems.
• Strong API design skills (REST/gRPC) with versioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go.
• Translate business goals into actionable technical plans with PMs.
• Identify edge cases and risks early in planning.
• Represent engineering in meetings with stakeholders.
• Lead code reviews ensuring high-quality, reliable code.
• Drive CI/CD and DevOps improvements for faster delivery.
