Job summary

Andersen is seeking a Go Architect / Solution Architect (Go) to lead design of scalable distributed systems and high-performance platforms. Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Go experience, including goroutines, channels, context and concurrency patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive experience implementing and configuring it within a team.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated/high-velocity domains.
• Proven experience designing distributed, microservice-based, and/or high-load systems.
• Strong REST and/or gRPC design knowledge, versioning and backward compatibility.
• Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) and event-driven architecture.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• System design for high performance and maintainability.
• Understanding of scalability, fault tolerance and observability (metrics, logging, tracing).
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and writing design documents.
• English level – Advanced and above.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable distributed systems in Go, selecting appropriate concurrency models and balancing performance with maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business goals into actionable technical plans and roadmaps.
• Identify edge cases, risks, and constraints early in planning to avoid issues during implementation.
• Represent the engineering team in meetings with external stakeholders and explain technical topics in business terms.
• Lead and perform code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, resilience and reliability.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to ship high-quality code faster and safely.
