NCR Voyix Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve our observability and monitoring platform. You will design scalable Go services, collect telemetry, and integrate with cloud monitoring tools across distributed environments.

The role requires deep experience in cloud-native architectures, observability pipelines, and collaboration with SRE and engineering teams to improve reliability and performance. A strong foundation in API design and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Go (Golang) expertise with production-grade apps.
• Experience building cloud-native apps on GCP/AWS/Azure.
• Deep knowledge of observability, telemetry, metrics, traces, logs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and modern observability tools.
• Strong collaboration with SRE, product, and operations teams.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Go apps.
• Build components for collecting and exporting telemetry data.
• Integrate with cloud-native monitoring and internal SRE tooling.
• Create monitoring platform for system health and user experience.
• Instrument code to generate metrics, traces, logs.
• Collaborate with SRE, Product, Ops, and Eng teams.
• Design APIs, plugins, and integrations for telemetry.
• Participate in architectural discussions on distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in cloud environments.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Stay current on observability trends.
