Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a mid-career Software Engineer II to join the Edge platform team in Atlanta. You will help build scalable, cloud-native services and contribute across the full software lifecycle from development to release automation.

The role emphasizes solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and delivering robust platforms that power business services for retailers and restaurants.

Qualifications

Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Golang.
Experience with Linux or macOS development environments.
Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and modern architectures.
Experience using Git-based source control workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or similar).

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, operate, and continuously improve platform engineering solutions.
Own technical problems end-to-end, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Contribute to product and platform roadmaps with focus on performance and observability.
Participate in root cause analysis, incident investigation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Diagnose and resolve issues across internal systems and downstream dependencies.
Follow established engineering standards and contribute to tooling improvements.
