1Password is seeking a Senior Developer for the Admin Workflows team to create intuitive workflows for B2B Administrators to manage 1Password across organizations. The role emphasizes Go backend APIs and scalable architectures, with a remote-friendly setup across the US and Canada.

You will design, implement, and mentor while delivering high-quality security-focused features. Bring 5+ years in production SaaS, strong Go skills, and a product-minded approach to solving real customer problems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development in a production SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in Go, including designing and building public APIs and distributed backend services.
• Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives forward, and influence technical direction.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a growth mindset and a bias toward continuous improvement.
• Experience designing and operating asynchronous, event-driven, or queue-based distributed systems at scale.
• Strong product mindset with empathy for customers and a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable notification systems for administrators across email and integration channels.
• Partner with product, design, and data to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
• Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security.
• Set an example in code reviews by evaluating code quality, architectural alignment, performance, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
• See your work directly influence measurable customer and business outcomes.
