Bestow is seeking a senior backend software engineer in the United States to own Go-based services spanning quoting, configuration, and application-submission tooling. You will collaborate with the App & Checkout teams, drive architectural decisions, and mentor teammates as the acting engineering manager fills leadership gaps.

You’ll work with distributed systems, API design, and AI-assisted coding tools, while advancing CI/CD, automation, and scale for our B2B platform serving life insurers.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficient in Go and building end-to-end services.
• Experience with distributed systems and designing APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protocol Buffers).
• Familiar with Docker and CI/CD as a standard practice.
• Experience using AI tooling in daily engineering work.

Responsabilidades

• Build and scale Go services powering agent quoting and configuration tools.
• Partner with App & Checkout teams to align surface integrations.
• Lead architectural discussions and mentor teammates as acting-EM.
• Handle edge cases as distribution scales with partners.
• Write unit and integration tests and review peers' code.
