Job summary

Bestow is hiring for a backend software engineer in Dallas with 3+ years of experience. You will own end-to-end Go services powering agent quoting, configuration, and pre-checkout tooling. You’ll work closely with App & Checkout teams and participate in architectural discussions as the team navigates an acting-EM gap.

You will use AI tools to enhance code, tests, and debugging while maintaining strong design and collaboration skills. Flexibile remote/hybrid options and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend software development experience.
• Go language proficiency with end-to-end services ownership.
• Experience designing APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protobuf).
• Docker for local development and CI/CD as a default practice.
• Proven ability to discuss architecture and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale Go services powering agent quoting and configuration tools.
• Collaborate with App & Checkout teams due to surface coupling.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and drive direction where needed.
• Resolve edge cases as volume scales with partners.
• Write unit and integration tests; review peers' code.
• Leverage AI coding tools as a daily workflow component.
