Job summary

Amex Global Business Travel (GBT) seeks an outsourced Travel Program Management specialist in the United States to drive strategic travel management for a major financial customer. You will partner with the Travel Owner, optimize programs, monitor SLAs, and lead initiatives across regions to ensure service excellence and cost savings.

The role requires strong leadership, deep business travel experience, and excellent communication skills to influence executives and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in business travel management and program governance.
• Strong analytical and project management skills with ability to prioritize and deliver.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice to business partners under the Travel Owner.
• Optimize programs by identifying improvements in service and savings; prepare management information deliverables.
• Identify policy and program enhancements aligned with business objectives for future consideration.
• Monitor TMC service delivery against contracted SLAs and key metrics; address under-performance.
• Oversee TMC responses to day-to-day disruptions (strikes, weather delays, outages, visas).
• Manage vendor activities for targeted categories (ground transportation, rail, corporate apartments).
• Support transformation projects managed and delivered by the TMC to achieve business priorities.
• Coordinate communications and standard processes for travel management across countries; report progress against targets.
