Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Global Training Manager in Florham Park, NJ (Hybrid) to lead the global training function. You will shape the training university, collaborate with Segment Marketing and Product Management, and ensure high-quality content across brands and regions.

You will build and execute a global training calendar, mentor staff, and drive learning initiatives across a multi-brand environment. Travel up to 10% may be required; sponsorship is not provided for US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in education, learning and development, technical training, sales enablement, and/or product training.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Understand training needs from global stakeholders.
• Assess current state of the training program.
• Build out the training university to support all company brands and world areas.
• Ensure course content is developed for products and industries with marketing and product management.
• Roll out and maintain the global training calendar.
• Lead training courses via staff of training managers and a network of subject matter experts.
