Job summary

Wurth Industry US is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to lead its global trade lifecycle program as a trusted technical resource and mentor to the Trade Compliance Specialists. The role supports management and cross-functional teams on complex classifications, licensing, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive trade compliance experience across import and export.
• Experience with HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determinations.
• Experience with export controls (EAR, FTR), sanctions screening, and FTAs; CBP ACE knowledge.
• Professional credentials: Licensed U.S. Customs Broker, CCS, CES, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own HTS classification, valuation, and origin determinations across a high-SKU portfolio.
• Manage ECCN classifications and license determinations under EAR; advise on deemed exports and end-use diligence.
• Maintain recordkeeping and audit readiness under 19 CFR; respond to CBP requests.
• Lead trade compliance risk assessments, internal audits, and remediation planning.
• Develop training for sales, sourcing, logistics, and customer service teams.
