Job summary

Würth Industry USA seeks a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to be a hands-on expert across the full global trade lifecycle. As a U.S.

importer of record for fasteners and industrial products sourced worldwide, WIUSA carries significant customs, forced labor, sanctions, and export control obligations. This role owns the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of those programs, serves as technical resource and mentor to Trade Compliance Specialists, and advises business leaders, sister

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive trade compliance experience.
• Experience with HTS classification, customs valuation, and origin determinations.
• Experience with export controls (EAR, FTR) and sanctions screening.
• ACE experience and CBP data analysis is a plus.
• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker or CCS/CES preferred.
• Experience with global manufacturers or industrial products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own HTS classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determinations.
• Lead ECCN classification and license determinations under EAR.
• Manage restricted party screening, OFAC analysis, and denied party escalation.
• Support FTA qualification (USMCA) and supplier origin certifications.
• Perform forced labor due diligence under UFLPA and support CTPAT.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Trade Compliance Specialists.
• Draft procedures, lead risk assessments, and drive process improvements.
