Job summary

Würth Industry USA is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to manage the operational administration of import/export activities and maintain auditable trade records. You will collaborate with logistics, procurement, sales, and finance to ensure compliant shipments under U.S., Canada, and international regulations.

The role supports regulatory requirements, internal audits, and government inquiries, with starting pay around $80,000 and opportunities for incentive bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in import/export operations or trade compliance.
• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate and validate import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Verify classifications, country of origin, authorization requirements, and declared values.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders for accurate filings.
• Review entry summaries and supporting documentation for compliance.
• Prepare or review export filings (AES / EDI submissions).
• Maintain complete, accurate import/export records for regulatory requirements.
