Job summary

Wurth Industry US is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to lead and mentor on global trade programs. You will manage import/export compliance, classification, screening, and licensing, while guiding cross-functional teams and advising leadership on regulatory matters.

The role focuses on accuracy, process improvement, and training across sales, sourcing, and logistics to ensure compliance with US and international trade rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent job experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive trade compliance experience across import/export.
• Experience with HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determinations.
• Experience with export controls (EAR, FTR), sanctions screening, and FTAs; CBP ACE proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own HTS classification, valuation, and origin determinations for a high-SKU portfolio.
• Manage broker relationships, entry reviews, and duty recovery.
• Monitor tariff actions and respond to regulatory actions.
• Lead ESP and training activities; draft procedures and work instructions.
