Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC seeks a Senior Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the company’s international trade strategy and operations. You will guide HTS/ECCN classification, duties, licenses, and FTA usage while coordinating with Legal, Finance, and Procurement across regions.

The role requires 8+ years of customs and trade compliance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence senior leaders in a hybrid global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or related field and 8+ years in customs and trade compliance.
• US Customs Broker License (LCB) strongly preferred and experience with UA/EAR-ITAR and sanctions regimes.
• Experience in EMEA/APAC import/export requirements and familiarity with SAP/ACE portal.

Responsibilities

• Lead global import/export compliance strategy and daily operations across regions.
• Provide guidance on HTS/ECCN classification, duties, and licensing needs.
• Design and maintain ICP for imports/exports and drive process improvements.
• Develop training programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
