DSJ Global is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Leader to build and lead a best-in-class customs and trade compliance function across multiple regions. This role emphasizes strategic leadership and efficiency in compliance within global operations.

The position requires 8-10+ years of relevant experience, expertise in HTS classification, and proven ability to work cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will also manage third-party logistics and ensure strong compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of customs/trade compliance experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong expertise in HTS classification, origin rules, and trade agreements.
• Experience building or scaling global compliance programs.
• Licensed Customs Broker strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a complex global organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global customs compliance policies and procedures.
• Lead denied party screening and ensure regulatory adherence across global operations.
• Manage external customs brokers and third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor trade activity to identify risk, improvement areas, and cost savings.
