Fluence is seeking a Sr. Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the company’s global trade compliance strategy and operations. You will oversee import/export processes, licensing, and classification, while optimizing efficiency and costs in a hybrid, global environment.

The role requires extensive knowledge of HTS/ECCN, EAR/ITAR, and sanctions regimes, with leadership experience across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in customs and trade compliance
• U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) preferred
• Experience with FTZs, duty drawback, and FTAs a plus
• Strong knowledge of EAR/ITAR, sanctions regimes, and export controls
• Experience in EMEA/APAC import/export requirements is a plus

Responsabilités

• Lead global import/export compliance strategy across regions
• Guide HTS/ECCN classification, duty rates, and licensing requirements
• Develop and maintain Internal Control Compliance Program (ICP)
• Provide training on trade compliance across the business
• Collaborate with Brokers, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and suppliers
• Establish and audit scorecards for customs clearance and broker accuracy
• Support product development teams on export jurisdiction and classification
• Monitor regulatory changes and brief leadership with recommendations
