Job summary

Livingston International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of customs transactions through post-entry activities, audits, and regulatory filings. You will work closely with Operations and Compliance to identify risks, resolve issues, and support process improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with tariff classification, valuation, origin, and FTAs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance or post-entry operations.
• Strong knowledge of import regulations and trade compliance principles.
• Experience with post-summary corrections, protests or duty recovery preferred.
• Familiarity with tariff classification, valuation, origin, and FTAs.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit customs entries to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, protests, and other filings on time.
• Analyze tariff classification, valuation, origin, FTAs, and PGA requirements.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, compliance issues, and duty assessments.
• Review invoices and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Support internal audits, quality reviews, and compliance monitoring.
• Communicate with internal teams to obtain information and provide updates.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Stay current on changing regulations and trade programs.
