Job summary

Livingston International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of customs transactions through post-entry activities, regulatory corrections, audits, and operational support. This role collaborates with Operations and Compliance to identify risks and resolve discrepancies.

You will review entries, support internal audits, and stay current on changing regulations, tariffs, and trade programs while maintaining high accuracy and strong

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, post-entry operations, or related import/export compliance.
• Strong understanding of customs brokerage operations, import regulations, and compliance principles.
• Experience with post-entry corrections, protests, duty recovery, or regulatory reviews preferred.
• Knowledge of tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, FTAs, and PGA requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit customs entries to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, protests, and other filings within deadlines.
• Analyze tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, FTAs, and PGA requirements.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, compliance issues, and duty assessments.
• Support internal audits, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring activities.
• Communicate with internal teams to obtain information and provide status updates.
• Stay current on changing customs regulations and trade programs.
