Job summary

Livingston is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure accuracy and compliance of customs transactions through post-entry activities, audits, and regulatory filings. The role collaborates with Operations, Compliance, and Post Entry to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of customs/trade compliance experience, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality. This is a Full Time position based in the United States with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or related import/export role.
• Strong understanding of customs brokerage operations and import regulations.
• Experience handling post-summary corrections, protests, or duty recovery preferred.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit customs entries to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, protests within deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, compliance issues, and duty assessments.
• Review invoices and supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
• Support internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and compliance monitoring activities.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, training initiatives, and system enhancements.
• Stay current on changing customs regulations, trade programs, tariff updates, and compliance requirements.
