Job summary

Livingston International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of customs transactions through post-entry work, audits, and regulatory filings. The role collaborates with Operations, Compliance, and Post Entry to identify risks, resolve discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, post-entry operations, or related role.
• Strong understanding of customs brokerage operations and import regulations.
• Experience with post-summary corrections, duty recovery, or regulatory reviews preferred.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify risks, trends and compliance concerns.
• Highly accurate with strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit customs entries to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, protests, and other filings within deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve customs discrepancies and compliance issues.
• Review invoices and supporting records for completeness and accuracy.
• Support internal audits, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions.
• Assist with special projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Stay current on changing customs regulations, tariff updates, and programs.
