Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking an International Trade Compliance Analyst – Level 2 or 3, to join our team in multiple locations including Chandler AZ, Gilbert AZ, Sterling VA, or Redondo Beach CA. This role supports export/import controls for complex programs and requires a DoD Secret clearance.

The position involves developing internal controls, coordinating licenses, and working with customs brokers and law department to ensure compliance with EAR, ITAR, and USHTS/Schedule B

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience required for Level 2.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years required for Level 3.
• Master’s degree with 1+ year experience acceptable for Level 2.
• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker is required.
• Experience with USHTS and Schedule B classification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage internal controls for export and import activities to ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign trade regulations (EAR, ITAR, customs and sanctions requirements).
• Establish and maintain processes for preparing, routing, and coordinating export/import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations.
• Partner with Sector Compliance and external Customs Brokers for permits and determinations.
• Design and oversee processes to ensure trade compliance through gate reviews for export/import shipments.
• Maintain trade compliance records with accuracy and auditability.
• Investigate and resolve trade compliance issues with Law Department and other functions.
• Develop and maintain training programs and audits to measure effectiveness of controls.
• Track and report performance metrics for export/import processes.
• Provide guidance on customs classification under USHTS and Schedule B with brokers.
