Job summary

Aurora in the United States is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Semiconductor & EE Commodities to own supplier relationships, manage POs, and drive cost reductions across semiconductor, PCBA, and electronic components.

This role partners with contract manufacturers, expediters shortages, and accounts payable to ensure on-time delivery, accurate invoicing, and smooth change management in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, SCM, or related field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor/electronics purchasing and commodity management.
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices, packaging, and PCBA processes.
• Strong PO management skills with dynamic BOM revisions.
• Primary escalation contact for materials planners; expediting and shortages.
• Experience reconciling invoices with Accounts Payable.
• End-to-end change management with suppliers; manage cut-in dates and E&O.
• Strong communication in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and CM communication for PO management, expediting, invoice alignment, and changes.
• Own PO management: generate/update POs from BOM revisions and issue builds.
• Expedite parts and act as first escalation for shortages and commercial issues.
• Partner with CM on day-to-day execution: track build schedules and logistics.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for invoice alignment and avoid credit holds.
• Manage end-to-end changes with suppliers, confirming cut-in dates and E&O mitigation.
• Identify and drive cost reduction with Eng, Supplier Quality, and CM.
• Track orders, lead times, CM capacity, and supplier performance to flag risks.
